Opening of TGV Wangsa Walk Mall | Iron Man 2

Posted by Anonymous |

Yesterday I was invited to join the Siao Gang for a grand opening of TGV Cinemas at Wangsa Walk Mall.

Where is Wangsa Walk actually? It located opposite of KFC & NZ Curry house, Wangsa Maju.

Reached there quite late thanks to the crawls at LDP. The Siao Gang was consist of Adrian, Jason, Rames, Jenifer, Junn, Hikaru and Eunice.

The new TGV has a brand new look and the cinema halls are spacious, same goes with space between seats, it's something that all long legged people like me wanted to have.

In collaboration of the new opening TGV Cinemas at Wangsa Walk, there were a special screening of Iron Man 2 for the invites.

Popcorn and drinks were served on every seat and I was wow! That's awesome weh, even Jason have his thumb up. lol!

Wokie back to the movie.

I believe everyone who watched the trailer would eager to watch it and I can tell you it's SUPER NICE. The CG and the super computer made my jaw dropped. But then in this sequel of Iron Man, fighting scenes has been reduced maybe because Iron Man found he's going to die due to increase of toxins in his body, Oops I'm a bad spoiler. lol! Go to your nearest TGV cinemas to book your tickets to watch Iron Man 2.

Rate 8/10 Love the humours and jokes in this movie. I love HAMMER's weapon tho *ex-wife*

Ip Man 2

Posted by Anonymous |

Just got back from Pavilion after watched Ip Man 2.

Yeah! Ip Man 2 starred by Joshua Wong aka Tallboyz XD

Kidding kidding, Donnie Yen where got as handsome as I do? lol! Another joke here.

Back to the movie. If you have watched the previous Ip Man, Ip Man was fighting the Japanese's army during the Japanese's war fight to China. At the last part, he have defeated one of the Japanese leader and flee to Hong Kong.

As for this episode, Ip Man have opened a martial art school in Hong Kong but faced a lot obstacles. In this sequel of Ip Man, he have to fight with an arrogant Boxing King.

BTW, Bruce Lee was appeared in this movie. Don't ask me how and when? Check out for yourself at the nearest cinema near you. RM11 worthy to spend for this movie.

Rate 8.5/10 The punching, kicking and defending is superb. But still, this movie have less plots and too many fake fight that can be spotted.

Gatsby | Chocolate | Ice Kacang Puppy Love

Posted by Anonymous |

This gonna be a simple blogpost for today.

I've attended "The Largest Bloggers' Gathering" with Gatsby Deodorant Street Fair that organised by Nuffnang. This event managed to achieve The Malaysia Book of Record for the The Largest Bloggers' Gathering. It's an honour to me for being able to participate in this great record breaking event.

more about the Gatsby Deodorant Street Fair on my coming post.

Beside that I've collected my LG Chocolate BL40 that I've won from "Why I Like It Longer" contest not long ago. Really need to thanks to Fresh (from Nuffnang) for passing the prize to me.

Gonna write abit about the phone when I got some spare time. Heheheh!

After that I've went to Tropicana City Mall to catch Ice Kacang Puppy Love. It was a last minute decision, and luckily I manage to buy the ticket with my Nokia N900. Thanks to it's web browser that supported AJAX & Flash. It's indeed come very handy to have last minute tickets purchase avoided the hassle of queuing the super long line.

Ice Kacang Puppy Love is another successful Malaysian-local movie that I truly wonderful bitter-sweet and meaningful.
A film by Ah Niu who was a Malaysian singer. It has an impressive lineup of Malaysian artists like Lee Shinji, Gary Chaw, Victor Wong, Fish Leung, Eric Moo, Yi Jet Qi and more.

It has brought up the reminisce over those old authentic coffee shops and Malaysian cultures, the languages we spoken and the races that we have.

Rate 9.5/10 Highly recommended to you guys. Not to miss it out and do support our local artists. It's really worthy every single penny you paid.

If I am Ip Man master, I would …

Posted by Anonymous |

Guess what? GSC-EON Bank hold another contest in collaboration with the release of Ip Man 2 the sequence of IP Man that overwhelmed the audiences after it released to the cinema, including myself.

The previous contest was The Storm Warriors that I manage to win passes to Meet The Stars (Ekin Cheng & Aaron Kwok) at Aloha few months back.

Chinese Martial Art or better known as Kung Fu has existed more than 4,000 years ago. The purpose attribution of Kung Fu is for self-defence needs and as well for better health. There are assorted Kung Fu fighting include Drunken Boxing, Eagle Claw, Hung Gar, Bak Mei Pai, Tai Chi Chuan, Praying Mantis and Wing Chun that used by Master Ip Man.

If you flashback to Ip Man, he actually couldn't fightback on those gun-fighters.

As for this time If I am Ip Man master, I would bend the facts that Martial Art could actually defeat western weapons.

Wing Chun VS. Some idiot that only know how to use gun.

Ip Man is so agile he actually can avoid the bullets, roll on the floor and get closer to the opponent

and attack the bad guys badly with his thousand punches of Wing Chun.

Ok! Again, Kung Fu doesn't brought the reason for fighting, mainly reasons are for self-defence and health improvement. Don't simply go and fight ok?

So what do you think about this Ip Man? Can?

OK! PLEASE STOP LAUGHING, I KNOW YOU ARE LAUGHING THERE! STOP IT!

For more info about the contest, check out the GSC-EON Bank minisite at gsc-eonbankcard.com or click on the image below;

Clash of The Titans | Date Night

Posted by Anonymous |

On Friday I've watched Clash of The Titans and yes it's like finally I can watch this movie. Has been hearing a lot good feedback on this movie.

This movie is actually based upon the Greek myth of Perseus.

The story of this movie is about the same with the movie of Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief but in Percy Jackson, Perseus was the son of Poseidon instead of Zeus.

Synopsis: In “Clash of the Titans,” the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny. via shockya.com

I found something funny in this movie. The mighty King of Gods and his brother, Poseidon are some rapist. Yeah! They actually raped some other's people wife and women. WTF right? Then the last part when Perseus defeated the beast Kraken and saved his father from Hades, his father offer him a women to him.

Rate 8/10 The storyline is not bad and the CG is simply breathtaking.

Have you guys watched it? What do you think?

The next movie that I've watched was Date Night.

It is a super funny movie about a married couple from New Jersey who has dilemma of they marriage after known their best friends are going to divorce because of bored by their marriage due to lame routine which reflected to them.

In effort to reignite romance they have actually had a date night at a hard-to-get Manhattan seafood restaurant in the city where they couldn't get a table due to reservations. In the end, they actually took a reservation from a no-show couple's table.

The plot started when they found the no-show couple has problem with some mobster as well as a politician.

Rate 8.5/10 had a great night in the cinema. Super funny I tell you. You guys should watch this. :)
