5800XM Users Meeting with Nokia

Posted by Anonymous |

About few weeks back David Lian from Text100 has approached Nokia 5800's forumers from LowYat.net to have a mini sharing and get along together to talk about the best selling Nokia phone Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.

The gathering was held at Republic, Sunway Pyramid after some polls and discussion in the forum.

There were some discussions carry out to talk about this phone, what to be improve, complaints and alot more.

Here some photos I took on that day;

Foods and drinks are served during the session.

Glen, Nokia Malaysia Product Manager to talk about what coming out in future, OVI, the new Nokia 5530 and etc.

Beside that, there were some prizes to win by answering some question related to Nokia 5800 XM.

I got myself voucher to shop in Isetan.

Glen did brought along the prototype of Nokia 5530 XpressMusic. We are the among earlybird to see, touch and play with it.

The design is sleek, slim and the built quality seem more solid.

Nokia 5530 XM has the same imaging sensor of it sibling 5800XM but the photo output on the screen seem better, probably the pixel of the screen is more compact due to smaller 2.9" screen.

Before the event ended, I manage to take photo with DavidLian & Ms. Hazel from Nokia posing with Nokia 5530 XpressMusic.

Thank you to Nokia for the frenly meet up and Text100 for organising such sucessful event.

My Weekend Movies

Posted by Anonymous |

I have watched 2 movies over the weekend.

The Taking of Pelham 123

Starred by John Travolta and Denzel Washington. Before watching this movie, I've glanced the trailer. My early expectation was, this gonna be a low cost movie with just train, hostages, gun, train and train and train. But then the movie turned out great, the storyline is awesome, John Travolta played very well in this movie and seasoned with some jokes.

Rate 8/10 nothing much to agree with the Mayor, why they didn't even think to transport the money with helicopter?

Land of The Lost

The 2nd movies I watched. Yeah it's kinna lame movie, hey! who care? It's Sunday! I need some ecstacy injection on weekend.

This movie are hilarious and totally lame with some stupid and exaggarated CG but then it did made me laugh like hell.

Rate 7/10 Not bad lar, can watch one!

Just some random add-on.

Bought a new floating shoe for work, old one koyak already.

Yesterday night when to Nuffnang's movie screening of Ghosts of Girlfriends Past at TGV, One Utama.

Reached there quite late, didn't manage to mingle around with the nuffies.

This movie is about a playboy that has never get in serious in a relationship until he was brought back to the past by his past ghost's girlfriend. A lot hot and sexy ladies in the scenes.

A quite hilarious love comedy.

Rate 7/10 Can't believe they didn't censored the scene where he aroused his brother's mother in law. lolz!

Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince

Posted by Anonymous |

I was suppose to catch this movie with YY on Saturday. YY has 2 free Gold Class tickets to watch at Signature, The Garden. Was so nervous and kanjiong, 1st time watching in Gold Class ma....... here come the sad part. This movie was full house, even for the mid night session. This has proven that there's alot filthy rich peoples in Malaysia.

I didn't give up and I went to Mid Valley to get the tickets. Queued for 45 minutes but in the end...... empty handed and go home. Damn sad can?

The next day I went to MBO at Galaxy, Ampang. Some small and odd cinema, hahhaha sound desperate for this movie. There are no long queue, a lot seats can be choose and the air cond is freaking cold that almost turned me to ice cube. lol. Ok! Cut the crap and back to the movie.

This movie storyline is a bit boring lor, dumbledore died lor, snape is the half blood prince lor, the closet can transport one place to other place lor, the bad guys magic was so so only lor, I'm the super spoiler lor? Hahahahaha

Rate 6/10 dun really like this chapter, it like not complete. Totally dissappointed.

Woots! This my 11th times in the record.

YES! I did it AGAIN and this time it's from OneFM. Yesterday night Kyan from OneFM called me and inform me that I have won 4 movie passes to watch Coweb on this 29th at Cineleisure. Woots!

I was the lucky 8 contestant who sent in the SMS, not the fastest but the lucky 8. lolz! Proud giler can?

Coweb is a movie from Hong Kong and starring Luxia Jiang, Wushu Championship winner.

The movie name does sound abit weird tho, so I GSC-ed and found a short sypnosis of this movie;

Mandy slaves away at two jobs struggling to support her family, while dreaming about resurrecting her father's martial arts academy. When Mandy rescues wealthy businessman, Ho Kwan from muggers, he offers her a job as his bodyguard, support her family and restore her father's academy. Before long, kidnappers appear and despite Mandy's efforts to protect Ho Kwan, he is abducted. However, he manages to slip Mandy a box containing a key to a mainframe that controls online betting on fights to the death. Upon investigating, Mandy learns that Ho Kwan was kidnapped by a ruthless gambling impresario, Sung. In order to reach Ho Kwan, Mandy will have to join the tournament and gamble with her life.

Bosco Wong, TVB star from Hong Kong and also the ambassador of Kim Gary a Hong Kong concept restaurant in Malaysia.

I believe 8 out of 10 of you dined-in before and probably only 2 out of 10 of you have signed up for theirs' club membership. Do you know? the privileges you get as a member is way more than you pay.

Every month you will get free foods, example for the month of July I got Club Sandwiches and every months are different. Beside that there's 50% discount off before or after 7 days of your birthday.

You are just paying RM15 for the memberships and you will get all these.

I'm not doing any advertorial here, just some infos to share.

Last Saturday went to Kim Gary at Sungei Wang and redeemed Club Sandwiches of the month July.

YY ordered Shanghai Deep Fried Porks

and I had mushsroom shredded chicken.

I'm not so sure you guys notice or not, Kim Gary's staff do really work very fast and agile doesn't matter it at which branches in Mid Valley, Maluri, Sungei Wang and etc. I'm not being a racist ass but then most of them are chinese, if you comparing those Kopitiam like Old Town and Pappa Rich, you will vomit blood. XD exaggerated.

Just a simple update for today let you know guys I'm still alive and still kicking. lolz!
