The Legend Is Born, Ip Man | 25

Posted by Anonymous |

Another movie that I've watched last week. It's The Legend Is Born, Ip Man.

I suggested this movie to my gf and firstly she rejected becoz Donnie Yen is not in this movie -.-" but in the end still bought the tix to watch.

This movie is about childhood of Ip Man and where he master his Kung Fu, Wing Chun.

The real Ip Man's eldest son Ip Chun was also in this movie and played role as Leung Bik, the 2nd mentor of Ip Man. Dennis To, who played the role as Ip Man is this movie have similarity look about 60% to 70% with Donnie Yen, the way he talk as well the actions.

The fighting action's scenes is good but the way of filming made me a bit dizzy, too much moving from the camera and the kicking, punching is too fast. They need  at least 200Hz projector. lol!

Check out the trailer of this movie.

Rate 8/10 The storyline is not bad but a bit draggy. Still the Ip Man & Ip Man 2 is a lot better.

What with the "25"? Check it out in another 2 days. :)

Jogoya | Toy Story 3

Posted by Anonymous |

A quick update for today.

Exactly a week ago I have visited Jogoya, Starhill with YY's family for dinner.

This is the 2nd time I visited and this time I ate a lot weh. Jogoya is a flagship Japanese buffet restaurant. It has more than 200 dishes of different style like Chinese, Western, Korean, Japanese, Malaysian and a lot other styles.

From starter to main and to desserts.

Some photos to share;

Look hygiene and professional.

Assorted cookies

and desserts to choose from.

A must have if you love seafoods as probably this is the most expensive meal. Too bad I'm not a fans of oysters, don't really like the smell.

Everything made complete with  ALOT ice cream and cakes.

You know what? Ice cream is one of the most expensive thing you must have as it's Haagen Dazs weh. I had 3-4 scoops, 1 scoop cost about RM10. lol! Yeah! I'm quite kiasu tho.

Right after the dinner we went for a movie. Toy Story 3.

This is the 2nd cartoon animation movie that I felt very touching after Pixar's UP. YY again cried twice.

Toy Story 3 is about Andy the owner of Woody, Buzz and the others toys has grown up and moved on his life to college. The toys was supposedly to keep on attic but ended up to a day care centre. The nightmare & adventure began at the day care centre.

Seriously, the movie is very touching especially the part Andy leaving his toys for good to a new good owner.

Rate 9.5/10 Must watch must watch!

The Back Up Plan

Posted by Anonymous |

Just got back from special movie screening of "The Back Up Plan" at e@Curve starred Jennifer Lopez & Alex O'Loughlin. Two pretty peoples I would say.

It started when Jennifer Lopez as Zoe decided waiting for the right guys is gonna take too long and she determined to become a mother by having a plan of insemination.

Everything has turned complicated filled with errors when she bumped to Alex O'Loughlin as Stan at the same time she has successfully fertilised and gonna be a mother soon. It was a great test for both of them to learn honesty, responsibility & true love.

Rate 7.5/10 The storyline was quite nice & funny too. I just simply love the part where a kids eat sands & picked up a poop. lol! I just simply love shit & pee joke XD

But when he meets Jen Kornfeldt, a beautiful, fun-loving computer tech recovering from a bad break-up, he finds true love and happily trades international intrigue for domestic bliss.Three years later, Spencer and Jen are still enjoying a picture-perfect marriage... that is, until the morning after Spencer's 30th birthday. Now Spencer and Jen are on the run for their lives. As their suburban paradise turns into a paranoid game of dodge-the-bullet, they must find out who wants Spencer dead and why, all the while trying to save their marriage, manage his pain-in-the-ass in-laws, keep up neighborly appearances and just plain survive. And you thought suburban life was easy.- YahooMovie.

Special Screening of The Karate Kid

Posted by Anonymous |

Just got back from a Premier Screening of The Karate Kid at 1 Utama. Thanks to NuffnangMY again for the invites.

For your information, The Karate Kid is actually a remake of The Karate Kid in 1984.

12-year-old Dre Parker could've been the most popular kid in Detroit, but his mother's latest career move has landed him in China. Dre immediately falls for his classmate Mei Ying - and the feeling is mutual - but cultural differences make such a friendship impossible. Even worse, Dre's feelings make an enemy of the class bully, Cheng. In the land of kung fu, Dre knows only a little karate, and Cheng puts "the karate kid" on the floor with ease. With no friends in a strange land, Dre has nowhere to turn but maintenance man Mr. Han, who is secretly a master of kung fu. As Han teaches Dre that kung fu is not about punches and parries, but maturity and calm, Dre realizes that facing down the bullies will be the fight of his life. Written by Columbia Pictures

Jaden Smith, son's of Will Smith played really well in this movie and he does look a lot with his father. Some goes with Jackie Chan, found his english have improved a lot. lol!

Rate 9/10 Humorous, great plots and nice scenes shot showed the China's cultures & peoples. Alot amazing skilled kids played in this movie.

Save Life | Scooby Doo

Posted by Anonymous |

WARNING! Some photo may be graphical for some MINORITY.
If you have followed me on Twitter last Saturday I've went for a blood donation campaign at Jusco, Taman Maluri.

Found the campaign few weeks back when I visited Jusco Maluri I visited there every week ok?.

Tweeted about it and asked who might be interested to go. BTW Thanks to the peoples who RT, you know who you are. Tengkiu! :)

So, amosfamos called me and wanted to go together.

This is my 4th times, donating bloods but still I cannot stare on how they poke the needle onto my vain. Think also freaked out but for sake of helping peoples, some tiny miny pain is ok! XD

Seriously, it's not really that pain as you imagine.

The bloods floods super duper fast, imagine you accidentally cut the tube and the blood flew on to the floor and it won't stop. I couldn't imagine that. lol!

After the bloods lost, I felt my appetite gone haywire, easily could get hungry. Damn I'm hungry now again!

Ok! Last Saturday I did catches Marmaduke at Tropicana City Mall.

My 1st impression of seeing the poster, I thought of Scooby Doo. Marmaduke is actually a character leaps from comic strip fame.

This movie is a story about a dog that moved from Kansas to Chicago with his owner. He tried very hard to fit himself onto the new environment.

Check out the trailer;

Rate 7/10 A quite entertaining family comedy.

The All New Mister Potato Rice Crisps

Posted by Anonymous |

Mister Potato have recently introduced 4 new flavours of potato chip "Rice Crisps". The 4 new flavours consist of Hot & Spicy, Original, Sour Cream & Onion and Flame Grilled BBQ.

About a week ago, NuffnangMY have actually held a Special Screening of Prince of Persia "Snack & Screen" session courtesy of Mister Potato. I was lucky enough to get myself an invitation of the exclusive screening and tasted out all the new flavour of Rice Crisps.

RICE, rice is actually one of the main meal for typical Malaysian. It can be breakfast, lunch, dinner or maybe supper. Majority of Chinese peoples would have rice for lunch/dinner, thus the chinese would normally use the word "fan" in Cantonese/Mandarin which mean rice for lunch and dinner.

Even the master Ip Man in the movie Ip Man 2 also said so....

* translation: You think to seek who is winner is more important than having dinner (fan) with family?*

See! We all love rice very much. You can see even see me and my brothers have Crisps Rice for dinner together-together.

Dun play play! We all share and care oh!

With the all new flavours of Rice Crisps by Mister Potato, I've found rice have become more favourable and interesting.

How favourable and interesting is Mister Potato Rice Crisps can be? Here I show you;

Sour Cream & Onion is a perfect match made in heaven that made me Just Like My 1st Love.

Flame Grilled BBQ aroma made me want somemore just like I'm biting a real grilled BBQ chicken.

Original is just Classical that made me understand that sometimes less really is more.

Hot & Spicy is simply hot like fire that may found myself blasting fire flame but it's fun & exciting. Probably just because of me as I can't really take spicy foods. XD.

Rice Crisps do have 20% less fat, cholesterol and as well trans-fat free thus you don't have to worry much about weight-up. Now having rice does not only limit for lunch/dinner, it can be anytime and anywhere.

Probably you can try out yourself of the new Rice Crisps by Mister Potato.

Do NANG my blogpost if you found it interesting. Thank you very much! XD
