Planking All The Way in Taiwan

Posted by Anonymous |

This blogpost is responding to saimatkong's latest blogpost about "Planking"

What is planking all about?

Planking (or the Lying Down Game) is an activity consisting of lying face down in an unusual or incongruous location. Both hands must touch the sides of the body and having a photograph of the participant taken and posted on the Internet is an integral part of the game. Players compete to find the most unusual and original location in which to play. The term planking refers to mimicking a wooden plank. Rigidity of the body must be maintained to constitute good planking.

Since early 2011, many participants in planking have photographed the activity on unusual locations such as atop poles, roofs and vehicles. Planking can include lying flat on a flat surface, or holding the body flat while it's supported in only some regions, with other parts of the body suspended. Picked from Wikipedia

Below are the planking that I've done during my visit in Taiwan.

John Carter | The Lorax

Posted by Anonymous |

Watched two movies last week and thought of sharing it with you guys.

The first movie was John Carter.

The movie tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter, who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris. In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.

Rate 8/10 The story were a little slow but the storyline is great. Unique creatures appeared in the movie and a happy ending. Feel that this movie contains a little bit of "Pirates of the Carribean" + "Sherlock Holmes" + "Avatar"

Check out the movie trailer below;

The next movie was The Lorax, from the creators of Despicable Me.

From the creators of Despicable Me and the imagination of Dr. Seuss comes the 3D-CG feature Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, an adaptation of the classic tale of a forest creature who shares the enduring power of hope. The animated adventure follows the journey of a 12-year-old as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

Danny DeVito will lend his vocal talents to the iconic title character of the Lorax, while Ed Helms will voice the enigmatic Once-ler. Also bringing their talents to the film are global superstars Zac Efron as Ted, the idealistic youth who searches for the Lorax, and Taylor Swift as Audrey, the girl of Ted’s dreams. Rob Riggle will play financial king O’Hare, and beloved actress Betty White will portray Ted’s wise Grammy Norma.Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax is the third feature created by Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment (Despicable Me, Hop).
Synopsis from Dr. Seuss' The Lorax

Rate 7/10  Still prefer Despicable Me, miss the minions. The story tells the greediest of human kinds for sake of wealth and achievement without realising the consequences. Bring your kids to watch this.

So I've decided to make a short video shouting out what's my Amazing Everyday.

Tell me what do you think? Do give me a thumb up if you like the video by clicking HERE

The Devil Inside

Posted by Anonymous |

Two days ago I've watched The Devil Inside at Mid Valley, thanks to Churp2 for the tickets.

This movie is about a women make a documentary of unauthorised exorcisms in Italy, so she can know more what has actually happened to her mother. Her mother was believed to have demon in her, who allegedly murdered three people during her own exorcism about 20 years ago.

Rate 7/10 Handheld recording thus a bit shaky and dizzy of watching it. Interesting storyline and quite scary tho. Not meant for those who have weak heart.
