Kung Fu Panda 2 | Footwell Light

Posted by Joshua |

Last week I've watched the second sequel of Kung Fu Panda and it's in Cantonese version.

Po is now living his dream as The Dragon Warrior, protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters, The Furious Five. But Po's new life of awesomeness is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu. He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins; only then will Po be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed iMDB

Rate 8/10 It's very funny. Cannon can defect Kung Fu? This movie did tells "Why Panda is getting lesser and lesser in this world?" Hahhaha!

Check out the trailer if you planning to catch it soon.

Just completed another DIY of my ride, added footwell light followed the car dome light with dimming effect.

Recorded a video, check out how's the effect like :)

After the bridge we move to the beach, found a lot dead fish and garbages there.

After that we all move on to makan. Wanted to try the femes "Pau" aka Chinese Bun.

It's located at Lorong 4, very easy to spot as it's super crowded with ppl on a queue just to buy the Pau.

The shop name is Hai Yew Heng.

They got 6 flavours of paus which are Sang Yuk, Mui Choy, Red Bean, Kaya, Vege and Peanut if I'm not wrong.

Rames went in to order and he was in there quite long, wonder how he order? Pointing? or he really can speak chinese? lol!

The famous one is Sang Yuk.

The Pau actually normal only, feel a bit overrated.

After the Pau session, we head to Bagan Lalang. Which are very near to the Golden Palm Tree where I stayed.

It's a brand new franchise opened recently at 1Utama. This new outlet which are actually shifted from 1st floor to Lower Ground Floor Promenade with larger premises, comfortable ambiance environment & new/improved ordering system for better and enjoyable experience.

A new touchscreen interactive menu can be found on every tables that allows you to order easily and as well keeping track the bill.

Nikel tried out the new system by poking the screen. The interactions of the menu are straight forward & easy to understand.

Green tea bag is served and the hot water refill tabs are placed next to the table, so it's easy for us to refills how many times we want and cut the waiting time for a refill.

Had our 1st dish, SAKAE Salad. Pour sweet plum sauce on top and mixed it like we eat Yee Sang. It's very appetizing, great dish to start from.

RM13.90 only.

Next we have Hotate Mentaiyaki, it's grilled scallaps with codfish covered with mayonnaise. It's yummy!

We also have soft shell crab in tempura style.

Happy Meal or a Sushi Cake?

This actually mixed few sushi on this plate. The center one is SAKAE Candle (they really lite it up with fire), then the bottom one is Ebi Tempura Cheese Maki, then Sushi Salmo & Snowflake Salmon Delight,

Wow! All is Salmon. Oh! I've forgotten to mention, SAKAE is having this ongoing "Air-flown Salmon", a campaign to generate awareness of SAKAE's fresh air-flown salmon that flew all the way from Norway. Prepared premium Norwegian salmon air-flown twice weekly for absolute freshness. You are a fans of Salmon? You should go there and try it out.

After the great main course, we had Sorbet a fruity low fat desserts to complete our meal. It's has pineapple, lemon and orange flavours to choose from.

More benefit with SAKAE Card. I've just got myself 1 :)

In conjunction of the Air-flown Salmon Campaign, SAKAE sushi is also rewarding customers special promotion. With every spending of RM50 and above, diners will instantly receive a RM10 cash voucher for their next visit. If you are a Citibank cardholder, an additional RM5 cash vouchers will be topped on. That's a lot Salmon can be ordered :)

Harlo to Mich, Fresh, Nikel & Kenny

Before the event ended, we all went out took a group photo with the SAKAE's green froggy that came out of nowhere and gone hyper jumping here and there. A new way to greet us? Hahaha!

Pirates of The Caribbean 4 - On Stranger Tides

Posted by Joshua |

Yesterday I've catched Pirates of The Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides 3D, special thanks to 4D Magnum for the generous #MagnumMovieNite invitation and free drink & popcorn.

Captain Jack Sparrow (Depp) crosses paths with a woman from his past (Cruz), and he's not sure if it's love -- or if she's a ruthless con artist who's using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn't know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past. iMDb

Rate 8.5/10 Like the cheeky character of Jack Sparrow, humors was not missed and interesting storyline got pretty mermaids weh. You can decide to stay or not to stay for the after post credit scene, was a short 1, less than 10 seconds and seem it's wouldn't link to the next POTC.

Wouldn't suggest to watch 3D as most of the scene are in dark and the 3D glasses actually reduced the light making it very hard to watch.

Check out the official Trailer for Pirates of The Caribbean 4 - On Stranger Tides, including a special introduction from Capt. Jack Sparrow

Rate 9/10 Packed with actions and great CG. This reminded me of Avatar, wonder how's the 3D like.

For those who have watched the movie, do you know there's a hidden/secret scene after the post credits. The length of almost 2 minutes post credit actually come to this;

Openly recorded it out with my phone when the staffs cleaning the hall. Does this clip reminded of those this pirated VCD/DVD? lol!

Great Wesak Day

Posted by Joshua |

About 4 months back I've participated a contest organised by Nuffnang Malaysia, A Magnolia Sherbet A Day Make My Health Okay (Video) and I've lucky enough to be one of the grand prize winner in this contest.

Last month I've actually received the cheque from Nuffnang and it was 2 cheques in a month as I've cashed out earlier before they announced the winners.

As I've promised to myself, I must give out something on what I've received to the society. So I've decided to take out 10% of the prizes money to buy some daily groceries for those who needs like orphanages house.

So today on the great morning of Wesak Day, I've sent the goods that I bought to Thangam Illam Welfare Society which located nearby my house, Pandan Indah.

Bought some some basic goods such as rice, oil, biscuits, malts and etc

Although it was just a small amount, hope this can help them out a little.

Had a great groceries shopping with a big smile on my heart, I guess I shall practice more on this and not necessary to win something only can make donation.

Thanks to Nuffnang again on the donation :)

So when was the last time you return favour to the society?
