How Many Wives Could You Take?

Posted by Anonymous |

Thousand years back only the Emperor can own hundred or maybe thousand of wives.

THE EMPEROR DOES STILL EXIST!

Ziona Chana from Mizoram, India has 39 wives which hold the world's biggest family title.

He has 94 children, 14-daughters in law and 33 grandchildren.

Yeah! Total of 181 members and they stay together under 1 roof in the biggest concrete structure house in the hilly village of Baktawng.

He married ten women in one year, when he was at his prolific day. He said he feel like God's special child, given so many people to look after.

In an evening they would have 30 wholes chickens, 132lb of potatoes and up to 220lb of rice to service a lunch meal. The family member is organised with military discipline.

He keeps the youngest women near to his bedroom while the older members of the family sleeping further away and a rotation system for who to visits Mr. Chana's bedroom.

Last Wednesday I've catched Drive Angry casted with Nicolas Cage and sexy Amber Heard. Special thanks to cari.com, great to be cari a member. Heheheh!

Drive Angry is about a vengeful father escaped from hell and chases after a men who killed his daughter and kidnapped his grand-daughter.

Rate 6.5 The violence is over the top, swearing and cursing is everywhere in the movie. This explained why the drive is angry. Been told by Derek Yap on twitter that this is the best 3D action film, probably yes with all the chasing and fire shooting.

Check out the trailer if you haven't watch this movie;

Sanctum 3D

Posted by Anonymous |

Just got back from Mid Valley, watched Sanctum 3D. Yeah! 3D baby!

BTW this is the 1st 3D movie I watched with subtitles and it's 3D also. Hahahah!

Thanks to MixDotFM for the free tickets. How I obtained the free ticket? Listen to Mix FM. lol!

Since I got 4 tickets, I tagged YY, my evil twin joshuaongys and his friend Amanda Harlo! Nice meeting you.

Back to the movie. Sanctum is another movie produced by James Cameron, the creator of Titanic and Avatar.

The movie is about an undersea cave diving team experience a life-threatening predicament all through an expedition to the unexplored cave logic. Something unpredictable happened when a big storm blow in and had the water levels increased drastically.

The entire movie was rocks, water, water, rock, again rock. The story was quite ok and had me feel a bit suffocated as like I'm in the movie  I'm not a good swimmer. I can feel this movie is not just 3D, I can feel it's like 4D with the cold air made me shivering cold Mid Valley Hall 4 air cond fxxking cold weh

Human would do anything for sake of survivor including betraying and murdering.

Rate 7/10 Not as good as I expected from the big name producer James Cameron. I don't get it why people would want have cave diving which are dangerous? You can actually come to Batu Caves to see all this. lol!

The All New Honda Insight

Posted by Anonymous |

Last year KLIMS 2010, Honda has introduced their most affordable Hybrid car and announced the price of RM98k after the tax exemption by Malaysia government on all Green Car aka Hybrid.

With the tax exemption this is the car you get on what you have paid.

Here I show you why;

As you know Langkawi and Labuan are the only tax free states. In Langkawi, Honda Insight is selling at RM90k and a Honda Accord 2.0VTi is priced at RM89,900. As for other state, Honda Accord are price tagged at RM142k where Insight is price tagged at RM98k. The additional of RM8k is the sales tax, correct me if I'm wrong. From here you can see, the non-hybrid car you paying is extra 5X% more.

Does this attracted you to buy a Hybrid car?

On the 14th Feb 2011, Honda Insight it's ready to preview at all Honda's Showroom, at the same time for some are given out for those who have booked earlier. I've actually booked the car during the KLIMS period and still waiting for it.

I did went to the showroom that I booked my car for a test drive and also snapped alot few photos of it.

The Honda Insight in Dyno Blue Pearl II, this colour remind me of Transformer. lol!

There's a silver at outside of the showroom. It has an aerodynamic design and has LED tail light.

The under hood of the Honda Insight seated a 1.3L i-VTEC engine + an IMA (Integrated Motor Assist).

It uses two distinct power sources, an electric motor and an i-VTEC engine to achieve better fuel efficiency and enhanced performance. Thus the acceleration performance is comparable to what one might expect from a 1.6L engine.

The IMA powered with IPU (Intelligent Power Unit) that able to provide 10kW a 14PS horsepower.

There is an air ventilation to reduce down the temperature of the IPU battery.

Insight are paired with projector headlight for better night visibility and adjustable height.

It comes with a generous and sporty 16" rim on Dunlop SP Sport 2030 rubber.

The boot space is consider quite spacious for a hatchback car.

A rear truck cover come along with it for privacy purpose, still not advisable to leave anything valuable behind.

As for the inside, the materials that I found used for this car is quite plasticky on door panel and dashboard but then when I try to knock it's seem like a good quality of plastic.

The front seat is quite spacious and airy and the seats are comfortable. The rear is quite disappointed as it's quite cramped and not much headroom. The leg room still acceptable.

The rear view look weird with the separated 2 windows, need time to get adapt to it. If the rear seated with 2/3 people it's actually blocked the rear view. :(

The dashboard has a lot buttons on it like auto air cond, headlight leveling, ECON mode, VSA, side mirror folding and also a informative meter cluster that show trip meter, ECO scoring, average speed and much more.

Beside that there are also a floating speedometer that just like the current Honda Civic has but added a guidance function which colour change speedometer provides real time information which allows you to monitor your driving style for better Fuel Consumption. It's sound like driving an arcade game car. lol!

Oh ya! Did I mention Honda Insight is fully imported from Japan.

CBU from Japan, will be expected better QC and built materials.

On the test drive, I could only do a short distance ride.

The things I like about the car;

1. The engine is surprisingly quiet and when I turn the ignition, I hardly hear the noise.
2. The sound proof is not bad, feel just like the current Honda City.
3. Engine stopped when you on a permanent stop/traffic light to save fuel.
4. Love the instrument meter, futuristic feel.
5. Can feel the high torque although in low RPM.
6. The seat shape is quite comfortable.
7. Sporty 16" Rim with great Dunlop tyres
8. CBU and good built quality
9. Great functions buttons available on the steering.
10. Auto Cruise.
11. USB & AUX for the CD player.
12. Lastly it has the "Geek" look which I like XD

The things I found annoyed;

1. Low headroom on the rear. I'm 6 foots 1" I couldn't sit behind, I may snap my head if go over bump.
2. The kick start resume from engine stop while on traffic is very obvious.
3. If you place ur gear to P, the engine stop wouldn't works.
4. Difficulty to see behind if car fully loaded with passengers at the back.

Steve Job Has Just 6 Weeks To Live

Posted by Anonymous |

The tech world runs on rumors said that Steve Jobs, Apple founder and CEO of Apple Inc. has terminal pancreatic cancer and may live for just six more weeks.

On January, the 56 years old Steve Jobs has requested the board of directors to grant him a medical leave of his absence so that he could focus on his health.

There is this photo showing him looks frail and weak with his jeans and dark top hanging loose.

According to the National Enquirer, Jobs weight has dropped from a pre-cancer 175 pounds to 130 pounds now. His thinning has was a sign of the effects of chemotherapy used to treat the disease.

The photo was taken on Feb 8, showed Jobs going for breakfast with his wife Laurene Powell before heading to the Stanford Cancer Center in California.

The Apple CEO, who is worth $6 billion is currently on his 3rd medical leave and has bravely battled with the pancreatic cancer for 7 years.

Cancer indeed the scariest illness, it doesn't matter how rich you are. May god bless Jobs and family.

A love comedy, Emma (Natalie Portman) and Adam (Ashton Kutcher) who has been known 15 years back bumped back together. They didn't work out together as a couple instead a sex friends as Emma would want to protect their friendship. So they make a pact to keep their relationship strictly "No String Attached" It mean they are only together to fulfill theirs needs and would not fall in love.

Does Sex Friends would works to stay as Best Friends?

Find it out at the nearest cinema or you can watch the trailer first;

Rate 8.5/10 This movie tell how OPEN the western people are. The vulgar/censor words were everywhere in this movie, more likely jokes. Don't know why I enjoyed sex jokes very much and this is the movie for it.

Kuching Trip Part 5 - Pool of Bloods

Posted by Anonymous |

Here continue my Kuching Trip that I went last month.

On the 2nd days we were having masak masak/cooking session with ibu the mum's chef in the house.

We learned on how to cook their specialty meal, Ayam Pansuh.

Below are the ingredients

Me, Chris & Rebecca are busy taking photos and leave Shannon to be the honor to hand-on how to make Ayam Pansuh. In this incident we discovered Shannon has never touch raw meat before till now. Dun tell anyone about this secret ya. Hehehe!

Ayam Pansuh were cooked at the same way as cooking Lemang.

at the same time, sweet potatoes were cooked together.

This is how it looks like.

The next morning, we had a Penghayatan Alam nature call session.

We were asked to meditate at the same time sense and enjoy the surrounded nature.

We even asked to talk with leaves, stones and water. lol!

This is how we meditate, act like some dead bodies on the water. XD

photo credit to Rebecca.

After that we head for breakfast and ready for jungle & river trekking at Santubong's hill.

A briefing given out before the trekking, the must and don't during the trekking. The most important is don't ask "Where is Puteri Santubong?" She might kidnap you and prison you forever. lol!

Let's follow the blue code!

GO! GO! GO!

While we on our way to the almost top hill we were point at a herb to be known as Tongkat Ali, some good bloods ventilation herbs for men you know what I mean right? XD

Riz & Hirule need some Tongkat Ali. lol!

While on the journey we passed by few water fall

and pool of bloods? BLOODS POOL??? Murderer scene? Homicide?

It's actually liquid that came from the old roots.

Check out the video of the jungle trekking

After about 50 minutes of walking finally we reached the destination.

Everyone is chilling on the water fall before we have river trekking back to our house.

The river trekking is fun and great experience, walked with the water stream at the same time enjoy the nature scenery.

It's because involved water so I didn't brought allow my camera and the trek guidance helped me to carry my camera.

The journey took about 50 minutes.

My old & dirty fake Croc gotten whiter after the water stream wash. Hahaha!

Next post gonna be my finally blogpost trip in Kuching, it's gonna be filled with some mouth watering locals foods that you should try if you plan to visit Kuching. :)

Shaolin | What Women Want | Honda Insight

Posted by Anonymous |

I've watched 2 Andy Lau's movies which are Shaolin & What Women Want.

Shaolin

The story revolves around a proud and arrogant warlord (Andy Lau) who is forced to seek refuge at Shaolin when his buddy (Nicholas Tse) turns against him. There, he is enlightened by an inconspicuous cook (Jackie Chan) and takes it upon himself to make peace with the monks that he previously sneered at (Wu Jing, Xing Yu, Yu Shao Qun), and lead them in rescuing the commoners from hardships, sufferings and oppression as his friend wages wars on other warlords to expand his territories.

Trailer of Shaolin;

Rate 9/10 Andy Lau looks like M. Bison in Street Fighter. This movie tells what karma is all about.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What Women Want

What Women Want is a remake of the 2000 Hollywood on the same title, starring Mel Gibson & Helen Hunt.

This movie released in occasion of the LOVE season, Valentine's Day. Andy Lau work as an advertising executive in this movie, who out of sudden develops an ability to listen into the thought of women.

Trailer of What Women Want;

Rate 7/10 The storyline is different from the origin movie in year back 2000. Love the role of Andy Lau for being so playful and youthful.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This morning I've went to Honda Showroom in Sungei Besi to check out the new Honda Insight.

Finally it has come and for those who didn't know, I've actually booked this car last year December. :)

I only manage to snap few photos and no test drive as the actually soft launch is 15th. I have to go behind of the workshop garage to see the car as it's not ready to display in showroom.

For those who do know about this car, you can check it out on Honda's Official Website for the spec.

Honda Insight is the cheapest Hybrid car in town, the price tag for Honda Insight is RM98,0000 after tax exemption by government last year.

It was a quick glance of the car as it's not ready for test drive so I couldn't have much review of this car.

This car really not meant for tall people like me to be passengers. 6 footers with spiky hair could not sit behind as the rear headroom & legroom are quite cramped, unless you are the driver or the co-driver.
Wonder why this car can be so sellable in western country as most of them are quite or maybe much taller than me.

The built material seem a bit low especially the door panels and dashboard, probably that's the reason how Honda can built the most economic Hybrid car.

Can't wait for my new ride to come. Woots!

Burlesque

Posted by Anonymous |

Last night I've catched Burlesque, thanks to Kelly for the ticket.

Burlesque is about a small-town girl from Iowa with a big heart of singing and dancing. ventures to Los Angeles. The next thing she finds herself attracted with the art of burlesque. Then she was self-hired herself as a waitress there. Her life changed dramatically when she managed to grab the chance to perform on the stage and shined with her perfect vocal. No more spoiler!

While waiting for it to release in Malaysia on 17th Feb 2010, you can watch the trailer below;

Rate 8.5/10 The storyline were a bit like Coyote Ugly. Christina Aguilera are hot, sexy and has a powerful vocal. Cher has a powerful vocal too but her outlook er........ reminded me of MJ, I'm so bad.

Overall is a good movie, worth every single penny you paid.
