Charlie St. Cloud | I'm Back

Posted by Anonymous |

Wow! Almost a week I didn't update my blog.

I was away for trip few days back and when I reached home my modem died on me. Yeah! It was the free modem from TM that only can only last for 13 months which has just past 1 month warranty, FML!. Need to dig money for a new modem.

BTW Charlie St. Cloud is up on cinema today. I manage to catch it 3 days before screening, thanks to UIP Malaysia for the ticket.

Charlie St. Cloud is a young man overcome by grief at the death of his younger brother. So much so that he takes a job as caretaker of the cemetery in which his brother is buried. Charlie has a special lasting bond with his brother though, as he can see him. Charlie meets up with his brother (Sam) each night to play catch and talk. Then, a girl comes into Charlie's life and he must choose between keeping a promise he made to Sam, or going after the girl he loves.

Rate 8.5/10 Quite like the storyline but don't know why I feel the brotherhood is a bit too much making it like #bromance in this movie. lol! Please ignore my stupidity.

Zac Efron's fans out there, this is a must watch movie. Everyone girls who watched it praised how good looking he are, he gonna be the next Brad Pitt, he's god and a lotmore, yeah! GIRL!

Check out the trailer of this movie;

Gonna have blogpost about my trip to Tioman Island next.

Going The Distance | Sushi Zanmai

Posted by Anonymous |

Last Saturday I have watched "Going The Distance" starred by Justin Long and Drewbarry More at Pavilion.

This movie is a romance comedy about a great couple struggled to stay together as they have to be apart due to work jobs in different state. They start a no-strings-attached summer fling relationship that turns into a seriously meaningful love affair. They realized that they were meant for each other.

The movie tracks down the trial and tribulations that are part of maintaining a bond when the distance becomes a gap for the couple.

Rate 7.5/10 A great romance movie seasoned with laughter. Lesson learned, scarifications are crucial in order to maintain a great relationship.

Next! Makan post at Sushi Zanmai,

Makan bersama sama with 3 bloggers friends. Who are they?

Check it out on my next blogpost :)

Resident Evil: Afterlife 2D

Posted by Anonymous |

Just got back from Tropicana City Mall after watched the 4th sequels of Resident Evil: Afterlife. Yeah 2 days in a round watch movies at the same place.

One word to describe my feeling after watched RE4 "Sad"! Not to say the movie is not good, just that I feel a bit disappointed for missing out to watch it in 3D format. I did saw a lot nice scenes that definitely look *&^%$%^&*(*&^%$ great in 3D effect.

No worry, no spoiler here!

The story was so so only. Just feel a bit annoyed with the no dying villain, died then come back, died then come back, WTF! Yeah I know, it's from a game and the undead won't die but still it's freaking annoyed. It's like not going to end. I recalled a scene where it going to end, Wentworth Miller asked "What next?" Then I yelled "Resident Evil 5 lor you money sucker" and giggled. WTF! I'm so lame!

Rate 7/10 I guess it would be higher if in 3D. If you are fanboys of Resident Evil you should watch 3D, you won't regret.

Thank you to Friendster Fizz for the tickets.

Cats & Dogs | Nokia N8 Preview Session

Posted by Anonymous |

I just got back from Tropicana City Mall after watched Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.

Thanks to MixDotFM for the tickets that I won from radio contest.

Sypnosis
In the age-old battle between cats and dogs, one crazed feline has taken things a paw too far. Kitty Galore, formerly an agent for cat spy organization MEOWS, has gone rogue and hatched a diabolical plan to not only bring her canine enemies to heel, but take down her former kitty comrades and make the world her scratching post. Faced with this unprecedented threat, cats and dogs will be forced to join forces for the first time in history in an unlikely alliance to save themselves and their humans -
RottenTomatoes

Seriously, I'm not really a fans of talking animals movie, but this is quite silly to watch for an adult like me. I'm not saying this movie is not good, it just that this movie is not my cup of tea luckily is a free movie ticket phew. Probably this movie targeting kids below 13, you know nowadays kids are very rich thanks to theirs parent.

Rate 4/10 Could give higher rate as I really got the intention to leave half way of the movie but I still finish it. WTF! (Want To Faint) I only know the kids really enjoyed the movie and wow about it. lol!

BTW this make my 21 winning. w00t!

Piranha | Lot 10 Hutong

Posted by Anonymous |

This afternoon I've watched Piranha (2D format) as Malaysia do not have 3D screening yet or maybe won't.

Piranha is a remake science-fiction movie that took place on a beautiful Lake Victoria, after a sudden underwater tremor sets free numbers of prehistoric-man-eating fish that long extincted 2 millions ago.

Every year spring break, Lake Victoria would swarmed with 5,000 to 20,000 of teenagers partying on the lake and turned to fish food for the area's new razor-toothed residents.

I was surprised that this movie is up on cinema in Malaysia as a lot parts wasn't uncensored, probably after censored there gonna be nothing to watch. Hahaha! I can see a lot bikini, boobies and also nipples. No kidding, can see eh.

Rate 8/10 The torn flesh and blood is super gross but it's very bloods pumping.

........................................................................................................................................

After the movie me and YY went to Lot 10 for lunch. Has been so long never drop by to Lot 10. Didn't know the food court there got so many foods to choose from, some more they are famous famous one.

YY told me that the Hokkien Mee there is nice so I ordered one.

The Hokkien Mee indeed tasty but then it's quite expensive for such small portion, RM8.95 for this.

YY and me while she enjoying her porridge.
