Nikon D7000, D90 Replacement?

Nikon just announced another new model after Nikon D3100, Nikon D7000 a mid-range DSLR with a 16.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and 921k dot 3.0" LCD.



'Expeed 2' image-processing engine and 39-points AF system introduced in this this DSLR.

Beside that it has 14-bit analogue-to-digital conversion, increased ISO sensitivity (100-6400, extendable up to 25600) and 1080p/24fps full HD video with full time autofocus and manual exposure control.

There's 3D tracking onboard which have continuously follows moving subjects within the 39 AF points, while highlighting the activated AF point in the viewfinder.

The D7000 will ship from October 2010 with an 18-105mm VR kit lens selling for around $1,499 est. and body only $1,199.95 est.

What do you think about the new D7000? D90 replacement?

Hey :)
What do you think of the Nikon COOLPIX S8100?
My digital camera recently broke, and I want to know if anyone thinks this would be a good one. If you have a much better digital camera idea in mind let me know, best wishes.

honestly , d7000 is not the replacement for it. it's a bit higher end. so the real D90 repacement is still pending
