Last Friday night I've attended SAKAE Sushi food tasting at 1Utama, thanks to SAKAE Sushi & Nuffnang Malaysia Glitterati Plus for the invitation.

It's a brand new franchise opened recently at 1Utama. This new outlet which are actually shifted from 1st floor to Lower Ground Floor Promenade with larger premises, comfortable ambiance environment & new/improved ordering system for better and enjoyable experience.



A new touchscreen interactive menu can be found on every tables that allows you to order easily and as well keeping track the bill.


Nikel tried out the new system by poking the screen. The interactions of the menu are straight forward & easy to understand.


Green tea bag is served and the hot water refill tabs are placed next to the table, so it's easy for us to refills how many times we want and cut the waiting time for a refill.


Had our 1st dish, SAKAE Salad. Pour sweet plum sauce on top and mixed it like we eat Yee Sang. It's very appetizing, great dish to start from.

Next we have Hotate Mentaiyaki, it's grilled scallaps with codfish covered with mayonnaise. It's yummy!


We also have soft shell crab in tempura style.


Happy Meal or a Sushi Cake?

This actually mixed few sushi on this plate. The center one is SAKAE Candle (they really lite it up with fire), then the bottom one is Ebi Tempura Cheese Maki, then Sushi Salmo & Snowflake Salmon Delight,

Wow! All is Salmon. Oh! I've forgotten to mention, SAKAE is having this ongoing "Air-flown Salmon", a campaign to generate awareness of SAKAE's fresh air-flown salmon that flew all the way from Norway. Prepared premium Norwegian salmon air-flown twice weekly for absolute freshness. You are a fans of Salmon? You should go there and try it out.

After the great main course, we had Sorbet a fruity low fat desserts to complete our meal. It's has pineapple, lemon and orange flavours to choose from.

Before the event ended, we all went out took a group photo with the SAKAE's green froggy that came out of nowhere and gone hyper jumping here and there. A new way to greet us? Hahaha!
