Yesterday Apple have a soft launch on the new iPhone 3G at WWDC, San Francisco.
This iPhone will be start selling on the 11th of July 2008 in the US. The price started at US$199 (8GB) and US$299 (16GB), how come so cheap whereas the early iPhone selling at US$499-US$599. Actually there's a gimmick, if you wan to buy this phone you are bond with 2 years contract with AT&T.
3G? Where's the front camera? Haha! This so called iPhone 3G doesn't mount with any front camera. It just an enchancement of the connection speed from GPRS to HSDPA.
Finally it has GPS, this new iPhone has an in-built GPS, A-GPS where it has become a common features on phone nowadays.
Still having it 2mp pixel glasses without autofocus. That's lame!
Not much changes applied on the outlook of this new iPhone.

I agree with you especially on the cam and secondary cam, i was expecting them to upgrade those but too bad, none in that aspect.
I think it's always unfair when people compare iphone with handphone powerhouse like Nokia and etc. Yes Iphone is not so advanced in term of camera, bluetooth and etc but u gotta admire what Apple does best, in term of music. Try comparing the smoothness as well, you will be suprised.
Really wonder how the price will be without contract, might be getting one if it's reasonable to replace my ipod touch =p

I read it somewhere it's 18 months, it will be available in more than 70 countries but sadly Malaysia is not on the list.
I think the 3 big telco here is too busy competing with each other and forgot to strike a deal with Apple =p
