Nokia E7 Preview

Posted by Anonymous |

Just got back from a Nokia event which introduced "The Ultimate Smart Phone" Nokia E7 at Aria Restaurant, Plaza Damansara.

Nokia E series was designed to be powerful mobile offices, providing industry leading productivity solutions for professionals.

The Nokia E series used to be in monoblock and for this time E7 was designed with almost same form factor of it's successor Nokia N97. Nokia E7 is running on Symbian^3 and some of you may think this is the last Symbian from Nokia after announced the partnership of Nokia with Microsoft. Sorry to disappointed, there are more devices which still run on Symbian OS platform.

It has a stunning 4" AMOLED Clear Black Display which work viewable perfectly under sunlight. Beside that it equipped with full QWERTY keyboard and capacitive touchscreen for ease of touch-and-type. The full QWERTY keyboard is very nice to press and great for email/SMS/social tools.

HDMI out is available in this slim device and not forgotten the handy USB-To-Go for easy data/files transfer via USB. It's an impressive feature that this smartphone has, just like the Nokia N8.

At the back of the E7, it has a 8MP fixed focus/eDoF camera which able to capture quite decent photos & video.

Ovi Maps is also available on the E7 with free voice navigation, probably the world's best mobile navigation experience, powered by Navteq.

Mr. Joseph aka Jojo from Singapore demonstrated of what the Nokia E7 can delivers

Here are the key feature of the Nokia E7

- Easy access to private and business email, Microsoft Communicator, Mail for Exchange & support of Intranet & Extranet portals built on Microsoft Share Point Server.
- Create, edit & share office documents and view PDF files with Adobe Reader.
- Fast, secure intranet access with the built in VPN
- High-resolution photos and HD video with the 8 megapixel camera and dual LED flash
- HDMI connectivity to display out files, videos and images onto large screen
- 16GB on board flash memory
- USB-On-The-Go, enabling easy file sharing by connecting a USB stick to the smartphone.

A business-optimised smartphone that also versatile with great multimedia experience.

Everyone got 1 Nokia E7............... to pose. lol!
